Vacancies have been announced at the Heavy Vehicles Factory in Avadi, Chennai, for candidates holding Diploma, Degree, and Engineering qualifications.

A total of 50 vacancies are available for the post of pilot. Educational Qualification: Must have completed and passed a Degree in Engineering or Technology in the years 2022, 2023, 2024, or 2025.

Stipend: Rs. 18,000

Technician (Diploma) Apprentices

Number of Training Slots: 50

Mechanical Engineering - 25

Electrical & Electronics Engineering - 7

Electronics and Communication Engineering - 5

Computer Engineering - 3

Civil Engineering - 5

Automobile Engineering - 5


Educational Qualification: Must have completed and passed a Diploma in Engineering or Technology in the years 2022, 2023, 2024, or 2025.

Stipend: Rs. 16,200

Graduate Apprentices

Number of Training Slots: 250

B.Com. - 100

BCA (Computer-related) - 75

Other Degree holders (BA, B.Sc., BBA, BBM) - 75


Educational Qualification: Must have completed and passed a BA, B.Sc., B.Com., BBA, or BCA degree in the years 2022, 2023, 2024, or 2025.


Stipend: Rs. 18,000

Age Eligibility: Candidates aged 18 years and above are eligible to apply. Age relaxations apply as per Central Government rules.

The duration of these training programs is 12 months. Selection Process: Candidates for these positions will be selected based on the marks secured in their Degree, Diploma, and Engineering courses.
