The Chennai Metropolitan Police Department has announced that eligible youths and young women who are interested in working for the Home Guard Force in Chennai can apply for the job.
Details of those eligible to apply:-
Men and women are eligible for selection for the Home Guard Force of the Chennai Metropolitan Police Department. Those who want to work in the Home Guard Force should not have any criminal background and should be of good character. They should mainly be within the limits of the Chennai Metropolitan Police Department.
As of October 1, 2025, applicants should be between 18 and 50 years of age.
Those selected for the Home Guard Force will be given one hour of training and will be given 45 days. After the training period, you will be sent to the police station in the concerned area. A daily salary of Rs. 500/- will be given for the work.
The last date for submission of applications is November 30, 2025. Please send the completed application to the following address: Chennai Metropolitan Police Office, Saidapet Police Station Complex, Saidapet, Chennai-15.
