Education Qualification :-

To apply for the (GDS) Gramin Dak Sevak (Rural Postal Service) position in the postal department one must have passed the 10th grade.

Eligibility Criteria as follows :-

1. Selection is based on the marks obtained in the 10th grade.

2. Knowledge of  the local language is essential.

3. Must know how to ride a bicycle and a motorcycle.

4. Applicants must have completed 18years of age to 40 years.

Age limit relaxation :-

1. SC / ST Category - 5 Years

2. Other Backward Classes - 3 Years

3. Persons with disabilities - 10 Years

Salary Details :-

1. Branch Post Master ( BPM)  Post - Rs.10,000/- to Rs.24,470/-

2. Assistant Branch Post Master (ABPM) Post - Rs.12,000/- to Rs.29,380/-
