The GATE (National Entrance Examination) is being conducted across the country. The notification for admission to the exam closed on September 28th, but the deadline to apply for the GATE exam has been extended.
This GATE score is used for admission to postgraduate engineering courses in IITs and higher education institutions operating across India. We have also seen that in many public sector institutions, this GATE score is a part of which type of private higher education institutions are used for admission.
How GATE exam is conducted :-
This exam is a computer-based exam of 100 marks. It will be conducted in 30 subjects like Mechanical Engineering, Architecture etc. Candidates will have to face the exam for only 3 hours. The marks are valid for only three (3) years from the date of release of the GATE exam score list. It will be a good motivation for the candidates to get a job.
