The railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has announced a major recruitment drive for technically and professionally qualified individuals. Applications are invited from Indian citizens to fill 590 vacancies in the paramedical category. Applications must be submitted online via the website rrbapply.gov.in .

Date of Notification issued by RRB: 12.09.2026ctober 14, 2026.
Important Notes :-
In accordance with CEN-05/2026, candidates applying for rrb Paramedical posts must select and apply for only one post. If an application is submitted for an additional post, the previously submitted application will also be rejected. Candidates who have completed their studies but are awaiting final results are not eligible to apply for paramedical posts. This decision is final and conclusive.

Railway Recruitment Board – Pay Level for Paramedical Category Posts :-
1. Nursing Superintendent : Rs. 44,900/- per month as per Level-7.
2. Dialysis Technician - Rs. 35,400/- per month as per Level-6.
3. Health & Malaria Inspector Gr II - Rs. 35,400/- per month as per Level-6.
4. Audiologist & Speech Therapist - Rs. 35,400/- per month as per Level-6.
5. Pharmacist (Entry Grade) - Rs. 29,200/- per month as per Level-5.
6. Radiographer X- Ray Technician - Rs. 29,200/- per month as per Level-5.
7. ECG Technician - Rs. 25,500/- per month as per Level-4.
8. Optometrist - Rs. 25,500/- per month as per Level-4.
9. Lab Assistant Gr. II - Rs. 21,700/- per month as per Level-3.
As of the age limit reference date (01.01.2027), applicants must fall within the specified age range :-
1. Nursing Superintendent : 20-40 Yrs
2. Dialysis Technician - 20-33 Yrs
3. Health & Malaria Inspector Gr II - 18-33 Yrs
4. Audiologist & Speech Therapist - 21-30 Yrs
5. Pharmacist (Entry Grade) - 20 -35 Yrs
6. Radiographer X- Ray Technician - 19-33 Yrs
7. ECG Technician - 18-33 Yrs
8. Optometrist - 18-33 Yrs
9. Lab Assistant Gr. II - 18-33 Yrs
Age-related frailty is present :-
1. SC/ST category: 5-year relaxation
2. OBC category: 3-year relaxation
3. Ex-servicemen (all other categories): Relaxation up to 8 years
4. PwBD category (all other categories): 15-year relaxation
5. Group C & D staff (all other categories): Relaxation up to 45 years of age
6. Widows (all other categories): Relaxation up to 40 years of age
Exam Fees :-
All applicants for RRB paramedical posts must pay an application fee of ₹500; after the computer-based test is taken, ₹100 will be deducted, and a refund of ₹400 will be issued.
For SC, ST, PWBD, and Most Backward Class (MBC) applicants, the fee of ₹250 will be refunded after the computer-based test is completed.
Mode of payment: Online.
Payment method: The application fee must be paid using Internet Banking, credit card, or debit card.

3. Application registration closes: 14.10.2026
4. Deadline for application fee payment: 16.10.2026
5. Correction of errors in the application form: 17.10.2026 to 26.10.2026
Educational Qualification :-
Candidates must possess technical or professional qualifications obtained from a recognized university, along with the corresponding certificates. Individuals who are currently pursuing their studies and awaiting exam results are not eligible to apply for the RRB paramedical post.
The selection process will be conducted in the following manner :-

2. Document Verification
3. Medical Examination

1. Applicants should first visit the application portal at rrbapply.gov.in.
2. Click on the 'Notification' section under the Paramedical category.
3. Carefully read the notification details to understand the eligibility criteria.
4. Create a new account.
5. Enter your full details in the application form.
6. Upload the required documents (scanned copies).
7. Pay the application fee applicable to your category.
8. Take a printout of the application form, along with the Application Number and Password, for future reference.
