An Air India flight carrying 242 people, including 230 passengers, from Ahmedabad, Gujarat to London, the British capital, exploded within a second. The plane, flying at an altitude of 600-800 feet, crashed into a medical college hostel, killing 241 people, including former Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani. Fortunately, only one passenger survived this horrific accident, while five students who were having lunch in the hostel were charred to death. The entire country is in deep fear due to this.

Five medical students were killed when an Air India plane crashed into the B. J. Medical College in Meghana Nagar, Ahmedabad. It was lunch time and most of the students were eating in the hostel. The plane crashed and exploded, causing major damage to the hostel building.
Five medical students died in the stampede. Four of them were undergraduate medical students and one was a postgraduate medical student. The 40 seriously injured students are receiving intensive treatment at the hospital.
