The Indian Council of Historical Research (ICHR) an autonomous body under the Ministry of Education , Government of India has issued a recruitment notification . Through this notification ,the Council aims to fill 80 vacant positions for Junior Research Fellowships (JRF) . This constitutes the subject matter of the ICHR announcement .
The key announcement is as follows :-
Candidates wishing to apply for the positions of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) may fill out the applications forms on the website ichr.in. The completed applications must be submitted online by April.10.2026 .

Education for ICHR :-
Only those who have completed Ph.D are eligible to apply for the Junior Research Fellowships (JRF).
Age Limit :-
Regarding the age limit , the age criteria very based on the category : please refer to the full notification issued by the ICHR before applying .
Salary Details :-
We inform you for Junior Research Fellowships (JRF) work , a monthly stipend ranging from RS. 16,500/- to RS. 17,600/- will be provided by ICHR.
